- Precise location and approximate location, when you use map, point, and location-related features.
- Photos, when you attach photos to points or include photos in an export or backup.
- Microphone audio, when you enable noise level measurement for a point.

How we use this data

- Location data is used to display maps, record points, and support location-related features.
- Photos are used only to associate images with your saved points and to include them in exports or backups when you choose to share your data.
- Microphone audio is used only to measure environmental noise levels in decibels when you save a point with noise detection enabled.

Data handling

- The app processes location, photos, and audio locally on your device.
- We do not sell user data.
- We do not upload this data to our own servers.
- When you choose to export or share a backup, the exported file may contain point data, location data, tags, and photos, and it is shared only to the destination you select.
- Microphone audio is not recorded as a voice file, saved as an audio file, or retained after the noise calculation is complete.

Third-party services

- The app may request map tiles from third-party map providers in order to display maps.
- These providers may receive network requests associated with map viewing, such as tile requests from your device.

Security

- User data is stored locally on your device and protected by Android's app sandbox.
- Exported files are shared only through the sharing action you initiate.
